MADRAC-Microfinance Agency for Development and Rehabilitation of Afghan Communities invites applications from suitable candidates for the following position:

Background:
MADRAC is a microfinance institution which was established in June 2005 by DACAAR with financial support from MISFA, providing financial services to the poor and vulnerable families. Having its head office in Kabul, it is operating in 18 districts of 8 provinces (Kabul,Ghazni, Logar, Kapisa, Parwan, Herat, Nangarhar and Laghman provinces) through its 12 branches. It has about of 19,000 clients as of November 2008.

Over all responsibility:

°  Conduct field visits as per approved plan.
°  Visit groups and clients in the villages to make sure that all operational policies and
   procedures are fully applied.
°  Provide feed back to the branch managers and regional manager by submitting field visit
    reports.
°  Check the loan and saving ledgers with receipt summary sheet, receipt slip, payment
   summary sheet and payment slip.
°  Check the administrative documents such as records of rented vehicles, rented houses,
   purchase of local materials/equipments, stock registers, stationery registers, inventory of
   assets and filling systems.
°  Check the accounts documents such as daily/monthly cash flow, cash book, loan and
   saving records.
°  Randomly check the pass books with the loan and saving legers to detect the possible
   fruads.
°  Visit individual loan clients to find out the impact of loan on his/her life and family economic
   status.
°  Any other responsibility assigned by the Regional Manager.


Education:, University equivalent degree in Monitoring and evaluation
Experience: Three years experience in rural development/Microfinance and at least one year experience in monitoring.
Other qualification an advantage: Computer skills in handing MS Word and Excel, working experience in training and personnel database.
Languages: Pashto, Dari and English
Personal qualification: Hardworking, learing aptitude, honest, extensive travel in the wroking area of the branch
