Governance
MADRAC is governed by a board of directors (BoD) and a senior management team (SMT). The BoD consists of five members, out of which three, including the chairman, come from DACAAR and two from outside DACAAR. The BoD is the highest governing body of MADRAC and supervises the overall growth of MADRAC through the managing director. The BoD meets quarterly to discuss strategic and policy issues and makes decisions accordingly.
The four members of the SMT are the second highest governing body of MADRAC and consist of; the managing director, operations manager, finance manager and a senior regional manager. The SMT also meets quarterly, discusses the overall operational issues and makes decisions accordingly. Managing Director serves as chairman of SMT . The overall function of the SMT is to make sure that the organisation's operations are in line with the mission, goals and objectives of the organisation and that the agreed targets are efficiently achieved.
In addition, all department and unit heads are responsible for the smooth running of their departments/units while reporting to the managing director.
